...but seriously folks, probably the best psychedelic mind in music. Who else is blending funk with pychedelic garage in such a prolific output? Thank you Ty!
Favorite track: The Magazine.
A stack of raw germs designed by Ty Segall to be blown up in the world! In other words, scads of the demos that bred Manipulator, Freedom’s Goblin, Emotional Mugger, Twins, Ty Segall, Slaughterhouse and Sleeper, shuffled in non-linear reorientation; a whole body of work exploding over and over again with the freedom of first birth. Even the freaks are gonna feel different after any kind of time spent with Pig Man. Big pink box, poster included!

For what is effectively an outtakes album (the first three tracks being from the sessions for 'Face Stabber'), "Metamorphosed" doesn't fuck about in any sense of the word.
Said first three tracks get your shit pumping hard; 'Saigant' especially is a god-tier starter. The following 37 minutes after that (moreso alluding to 'I Got A Lot' here) is purely "yeah, we love CAN; here's our take on a Tago Mago-style jam".
Two complete polar opposite extremes, and yet they work together magnificently. Xtra Happy

These sessions capture perfectly the energy and "nowness" of a frenetic live show and don't sacrifice any of the sonic fidelity that has distinguished Fuzz from so many of its garage rock/blues-rock peers. Essential to any Fuzz fan or Ty Segall completionist. thepirc
